Jerry quickly earned my trust. He was upfront with me about his estimates, what was going on the City permits, the Planners, his subcontractors, and the schedule. Whatever he told me was on target, and his follow-through was remarkable. If I asked him about some small detail, there was always a full explanation that put me at ease. He took time with me, no matter what else was on his plate. Most of all, Jerry always did what was best for me, not what was best for him. In today’s world, I would say there are few who have the talent and personal commitment that Jerry Spivey has. I highly recommend Better Builders without reservation.

We dreamed up some incredible feats such as engineering a beam with a lot of offsets to install cathedral ceilings and complex roofline, and putting in a stairwell we purchased in the south. We particularly appreciated that Jerry was on our job site as leader, not just a contractor. He has a wealth of experience and an interestingly innate ability to analyze and handle situations.
